Genesis 18:14 Is Anything Too Hard for the Lord?

Genesis 18:14 “Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

Today I would love to focus on the first part of the verse above. Every one of us in Christ has faced trying times. We have all gone through those valleys as we walk throughout a dry and thirsty, dark, anti-Christ world. Many of us most recently perhaps, are going through what seems like a 40-year wilderness ourselves and wondering to the Lord “How long?!”

Let’s take some time today and remind ourselves of this question: “Is there anything too hard for the Lord?” We read this, and immediately say “NO!” and “AMEN!” and agree that nothing is too hard for the Lord. But stop, and think about this question. Get it deep in your soul and consider what is actually being asked! Is…ANYthing…too..hard…for the Lord?!

Are you going through a major trial with your finances? Is providing for you, and increasing, and opening doors too hard for the Lord to do?

Are you going through major trial with your health? Is healing you, too hard for the Lord to do?

Are you worried or concerned for your children’s salvation? Is reaching a lost family member too hard for the Lord to do?!

Are you struggling with addiction or habitual sin or crucifying your flesh and need deliverance? Is Deliverance too hard for the Lord?!?!

He who made the entire universe…He who speaks creation into existence…He who defeated sin and death on the cross and rose again OPENLY triumphant…is there ANYTHING He would find too hard to do?

Go into your closet and shut the door, and ask yourself that question. Whatever it is you are praying for according to His Word, or needing to happen, or are needing deliverance from…ask yourself, “Is this thing too hard for the Lord to do?” and remind yourself, “NOTHING is too hard for the Lord of all creation!” It doesn’t matter what thought tells you He can’t or won’t. It doesn’t matter what person tells you otherwise, or what demon in hell tries to convince you of the lie. What matters is the Truth. And the Truth is that God is faithful, and God honors His Word! He is faithful even when we are not. We rely on His Faithfulness and Trust in HIS Faithfulness, not our own.

As the Lord says in Isaiah 50:2
Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.
and Isaiah 59:1
Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

God is more than able, and faithful, and honors His Word. Now it is time to ask yourself, “Do I believe the Lord?” when He promises us in His Word? It’s time to start believing, and trusting, in the Lord 100%. This means…even if we have to be like the father of the lunatic son who cried to the Lord with tears and said, “Lord, I believe. Help me with my unbelief!”

Let’s remind ourselves every day…as often as we need it…that NOTHING it too hard for the Lord! Nothing! Say it and remind yourself as often as needed! If you need to go in front of a mirror and look yourself in the eyes, and tell yourself that NOTHING is too hard for the Lord, do it! I know I’ve had to do that myself, and will have to again in the future, because we all need this reminder.

I love you all dearly and continue to pray for you. I hope you all have a magnificently blessed day in the Lord today. Please keep the brethren in your prayers, especially those who are in countries where they are hunted and persecuted just for their faith in Christ! Keep On Keeping On, brethren.

Love always in Christ,
Your brother,
And friend,
Michael
